About NovelFlame

NovelFlame is an AI-powered interactive fiction platform. You pick a genre, set the scene, and start reading. The AI generates your story in real time, weaving in illustrations, video scenes, and branching choices that respond to your decisions. Every playthrough is different because the story adapts to you.

I built NovelFlame because existing AI story tools felt like chatbots wearing a narrator costume. You type, it types back, and the "story" reads like a conversation log. I wanted something that actually feels like reading a book, with pacing, atmosphere, and visuals that pull you into the world.

Meet the founder

NovelFlame started as a weekend project with my two young daughters. I wanted to show them what AI could do and spark their imagination at the same time. I already had coding experience, so building interactive stories for them became a fun way to push my skills further with AI. The first version was simple kids stories about unicorns and mermaids, complete with AI-generated illustrations. My daughters loved it. I realized the combination of stories and visuals was something special, but the existing tools out there were nowhere close. So I kept building. What began as bedtime stories turned into a platform, and every feature I added made the stories more worth reading.

How it works

Choose from genres like romance, fantasy, horror, sci-fi, mystery, thriller, historical fiction, supernatural, and LitRPG. Each genre has its own writing style, pacing, and quality standards. The AI generates prose, then an editorial pass removes cliches, repetition, and the flat voice that plagues most AI writing. Inline illustrations appear at key moments. At the end of a story, you get a video montage of your journey.
